Applying

How do I apply?
An online Letter of Inquiry (LOI) must be submitted first. We may request an application after reviewing your LOI.

When is the next deadline?
There are no deadlines. We accept LOIs on a rolling basis.

What is your average grant amount?
Our grants typically range from $2,500 to $25,000.

How often can I apply?
We generally do not provide grants to an organization in back-to-back years. We prefer to see a 24-month interim between grants.

Letters of Inquiry and Applications

What happens after we submit a Letter of Inquiry?

We will contact your organization after we review your LOI to inform you of whether you have been selected or not. If selected, we may either award a grant from the LOI or request an application for further review.

How long will it take before I hear about my LOI?
Our board meet quarterly, so response time can vary from 30 to 90 days, depending on date received.

Our LOI was declined. Can we reapply?
Yes, but please carefully consider the reasons given for the decline and any feedback from us before submitting another LOI. Generally, it is not recommended that you reapply for the same project for at least one year.

When, and how, do I submit an application?
We will contact you if you have been selected to submit an application. At that time, we will share specific proposal guidelines, provide a list of required documents, and assign a due date for submission.
